After our visit in February HiFi Stars published a review of our phono cables in the issue 35. It is the first review about our phonos and of our cables at all: we were a little nervous for this debut. But everything went well, really well.
Here You can download and read the german version of the article
and here the english version. Enjoy!!
The printed magazine (here online) will appear in the shops on the 2nd of June 2017!
What a show, what a huge work, what a fantastic crow of people.
We plaid great music, we had lot of discussions, and other big news will appear day by day on these pages.
Already before the show we have been able to make a step further in our market presence: it will be defined in the next months. And during the show we consolidated the strength of our name
Blumenhofer Acoustics, our partner, made an extensive coverage of the show in their web pages:
Here You can read the preview on the Munich High End,
Here You can read what we did during the dry run at Blumenhfer. The dry run has been really important and allowed us to reduce the setup time during the show.
Here You can see our picture gallery. Here the picture gallery of Walter Kircher.
…and here our story about the setup and the show itself.
Lot of information is mutated with Blumenhofer Acoustics: we are deeply working together :)
For now, a big thank You to the whole team!
Even more than in the last years, the fireworks really exploded!!!
But this time… it left me breathlessssssss.
Just some small hints of the setup:
- TechDAS Air Force Two worldclass turntable, developed by former Japanese Micro Seiki: his lifetime project
- Einstein Audio The Little Big Phono phonopreamp
- Einstein Audio The Pickup cartridge
- Einstein Audio The Tune integrated amplifier including phono MM and Dac
- Cammino Power Harmonizer H3.1 - passive state of the art power conditioner (Blue Moon Award)
- Einstein Audio cables and Cammino power cords
- Symposium Acoustics rack, and overall decoupler and isolation and support elements
- Blumenhofer Acoustics Tempesta 20
At the first moment the whole system blowed me out of my socks!
The first impression was of a great maturity and understandability of what was coming out of the speakers: it was simply real!
Then slowly the feeling came of how was set up the system. A relatively simple setup with a grown world-class turntable.
Needles to say that we just played analog and have not been shy with the volume.
Needles to say that we all enjoyed the whole happening.
Here You can read the blog post of Walter Kircher, who supported us excellently during the whole days
Here You can view our picture slideshow
And in this picture, left Mr. Borchert and right his daughter: the two people behind the whole organization of the show. A big thank You to the both of them for making this possible!!
We spent a whole day at A Capella, one of the world leading manufacturer for Horn Loudspeakers.
As development system we were using a one way Laudatio loudspeaker, a small bookshelf which is 'just' a development reference project of A Capella which will only see the light if there will be a minimum order.
The source was an Einstein CD Player, one of the best CD Player in the world.
The power amplifier was a simple MaiA of Pro-Ject box Design, but believe me, more than sufficient for the task.
We spent the whole day, as I mentioned, trying to understand each-other products and find a way to implement new ideas in our power harmonizer.
Alfred Rudolf has been keen on working with us, at least as much as we have been keen on working with him!
I think all of us profited of this cooperation development day.
Fact is that we were really astonished. Yes, really astonished about the big result that even small changes could bear. Astonished, by the quality of the products we were working with. Flabbergasted by the ideas we collected.
It was a start and a first rough idea. It is up to us to extend and implement it.
We have known some more CDs and authors, some of them will become reference for us to work with.
Thanks to Armin, Alfred and Hermann to have made it possible!
Here to the Gallery with some pictures of the day.
What an event. Tons of people, lot of contacts, huge interest.
The show was really great, the best ever. Now it is time to collect the results... and some have already come during the show!
The first result? We are now supplier for tonearm cable for the MKII Pluto tonearm!! A great success!!!
This is a panorama of the main room where our products played protagonist, here is the gallery.

Dr. Feickert Space
Dr. Chris used one of our phono cables to support his playback during the show... a small but meaningful success
A Cappella Room at the HiFi Deluxe
In this room our power Harmonizer contributed essentially to the sound quality
We met in Walkertshofen Eddy from Pluto Audio, Peter from Allnic in Germany, Thomas from Blumenhofer and had some discussion and work to perfectly tune up our system for the Munich High End 2014. We are confident that we can participate at a reasonable level to the show... we are sure You will be thrilled too!!
More pictures will be available after the Munich High End ;-)
More pictures available since the 16th of Mai 2014 here!!
Well... they were that busy dealing with customers that they forgot about taking pictures.
It must have been amazing.
What to tell that I haven't already told?
This time I did not have the chance to make even one step outside of our room and spent the whole day talking with people visiting the show and spending lot of time in our room.
...even if really tough it has been very good!!
This was the setup, simpler than last year, but for this not less performing:
- Einstein Power Amplifier - The Amp
- Einstein CD Player - The Source
- Cammino H 3.1 Power Harmonizer
- The Rack was our way... If You are curious, take a look at the gallery ;-)
- Blumenhofer Acoustics Lautsprecher - Genuin FS 2
Thank You and thank the whole Bramsfeld team for the wonderful organization. Here the link to the HiFi Tage pages.
Thanks to Clemens and Martin of Sound and Vision (our dealer in Hamburg) for the outstanding support.
Looking forward for 2015! It is going to be the 10th anniversary of the show and our 6th participation: the organization promised big things for next year!
Here some pictures of the show.
The HiFi Schmiede is situated in an idillic village not far from Karlsruhe, in the south west of Germany. In the ancient time there was a smith, an important one for the region. If You visit the store, other than real good music and ambient, You find remaining of this older use of the area.
The focus was music, and lots has been played. The original idea was to have 20 minutes music and then 40 minutes discussions. In the end there was music from the beginning to the end and always again one question in between.
The whole system was composed by:
- Lindemann 825 CD Player
- Rega RP8 Turntable with Quezo cartridge
- Octave Phonomodule
- Octave V110 Power amplifier
- Genuin FS 2
- Cammino cabling and power supply
With these components and with the fantastic LP collection of Mr. Baumer, it is useless to say how good it has been. If You are even just a little bit curious, You can check the pictures on our gallery here
The first approach has been really delightful, let's see what this cooperation will bring for the future... if there will be any :-)
It is one of the most appealing consumer HiFi shows in Germany and we participated this year as well with Blumenhofer and Einstein.
This time it was not intended to be minimalistic it was a really huge system and played really good music.
The groove was there, the energy pushed us to the wall and the wish to increase the volume was there, but we had to spare the ears of our visitors.
The visitors came… and forgot to leave the room. At certain moments it was that full that we were not able to move.
We had a Genuin(e) good sound. This was the setup:
- Einstein Vorstufe - The Tube
- Einstein Endstufe - The Poweramp
- Einstein CD Player - The Source
- Einstein Phono Preamplifier - The Turntable's Choice
- Pluto Audio Plattenspieler
- Van den Hul Tonabnehmer
- Blumenhofer Acoustics Lautsprecher - Genuin FS 2
Guess which was our part?
And if You are curious to see some pictures, they are here.
See You in 2014!
Well, Blumenhofer Acoustics was in fact the host, where we had our listening and recording sessions.
Goal of those days was to generate a CD recording it directly from the LP. A challenge for the recording engineers after that!
Our Part, of course, You can imagine it... enjoy here the pictures taken, for the CD will take until the next Munich High End!
Even this year we participated to the analog Audio Forum in Krefeld.
In our room the setup consistsed of:
- Rui Borges - Uno Turntable
- Einstein Audio Components - The Turntable's choice Phono Preamplifier
- Einstein Audio Components - The Tube Preamplifier
- Einstein Audio Components - The Light in the Dark Stereo Power Amplifier
- Blumenhofer Acoustics - Gioia Loudspeakers
- Cammino HP - complete power supply and cabling including its extraordinary Power Harmonizer
On the first day we had a straight setup, it played, but it was not possible to turn up the volume. The people were already satisfied, but we did not. We knew what was reachable with that setup and we reached maximum 60% of that. Not satisfactory. Not at all for us.
In the night from Saturday to Sunday, after a good dinner in a nearby restaurant, we spent half of the night to start from scratch. What a wonder, on the second day, music was playing, finally music was in the room and cheered our ears. Thanks to Marco for the big effort.
Thanks to Hanna as well for taking care about the customers and to Jürgen from HiFi Studio Fuchs for the LPs.
And most of all thank You to the whole AAA Team for the great organization of the event and the great support during the days of the show!!! See You again next year!
Here You can see the pictures.
The idea to participate has borne by chance during one of the visit Andrea played to STS-Digital to evaluate the quality of the Groove into Bits CD and discuss some more points about marketing. And this is the question we had: how can we promote the brands in the most effective ways. Then we crosschecked our resources and decided to go again an unconventional way: we have the Blumenhofer Acoustics CD, why not to sell it at the show?
Some dazzling some phone call after we had the space at the fair and the equipment for displaying and playing the CDs.
The electronic of Pro-Ject has been supplied by ATR, the cabling and the power supply harmonizer by Cammino-HP. We used the stand as static display and as point of contact for the people interested in our products. And the interest was big, thanks as well to the Gran Gioia from Blumenhofer Acoustics: a great eye catcher!
During the show we had several visit of old friends and new potential distributors.
The visit of Van den Hul himself, the owner of the famous Van den Hul brand, brought some emotion Mr. Van den Hul appreciated our work.
Mr. Heinz Lichtenegger, director of Project, has been pleased by the quality of our CDs and recordings, and was astonished by the result over their CD player... well they were fed by our power harmonizer!!
As usual we made lot of pictures, you can see them here:
We were in the room of Blumenhofer Acoustics and Einstein, on the 16th floor of the hotel.
We had longer talks with final customer interested in power treatment and perfect system setup.
Volker of Einstein Audio had as usual a really great choice of music.
Blumenhofer was playing the Fun 13, a new budget loudspeaker and the people were surprised by the range and musicality that it has been able to express for the 2 days.
It has been driven by:
- The Source, the gorgeous CD Player of Einstein Audio
- The absolute Tune, the integrated Einstein Amplifier
and on the analog side there was
- Roksan Xerses turntable
- The Turntable Choice, phono preamplifier of Einstein Audio
We, of course contributed with the Power Harmonization, what else ;-)
Here to the pictures
We all know that the Munich High End is the most important european HiFi exposition. We have been present in area A03-B04. A show without playing music but lot of time to talk with lot of people. At the show we presented: - the complete cabling by Cammino HP and his Power Harmonizer - the complete line of Grandinote Power Amplifiers - the Loit Passeri CD Player - our nearly complete product range including the new introduced products. The Wiki was only present as development prototype
As usual, during the evenings, after show, we continued our show with special guests in Walkertshofen. Instead of going to dinner somewhere we spent time listening for music in our company.
I can tell you. They have been long days, but really fruitful.
The system was composed by:
- Loit Passeri CD Player
- Dr. Feickert Analogue Turntable
- Grandinote Celio Pre Phono
- Grandinote Domino and Demone Power amplifiers
- Blumenhofer Acoustics Gran Gioia Loudspeakers
- Cammino HP Power Harmonizer and cabling
