Testberichte
Wir bestreben nicht unzählige Testberichte über unsere Produkte zu bekommen… aber, manchmal, treffen wir Journalisten die eine genuine Interesse haben. Dann entstehen Geschichten.
Review of our phono cables
%02-%06-%2017, %RGermany, Phono, Press, ReviewAfter our visit in February HiFi Stars published a review of our phono cables in the issue 35. It is the first review about our phonos and of our cables at all: we were a little nervous for this debut. But everything went well, really well.
Here You can download and read the german version of the article
and here the english version. Enjoy!!
The printed magazine (here online) will appear in the shops on the 2nd of June 2017!
Münich High End 2015
%14-%05-%2015, %RGermany, HiFi Show, InternationalWhat a show, what a huge work, what a fantastic crow of people.
We plaid great music, we had lot of discussions, and other big news will appear day by day on these pages.
Already before the show we have been able to make a step further in our market presence: it will be defined in the next months. And during the show we consolidated the strength of our name
Blumenhofer Acoustics, our partner, made an extensive coverage of the show in their web pages:
Here You can read the preview on the Munich High End,
Here You can read what we did during the dry run at Blumenhfer. The dry run has been really important and allowed us to reduce the setup time during the show.
Here You can see our picture gallery. Here the picture gallery of Walter Kircher.
…and here our story about the setup and the show itself.
Lot of information is mutated with Blumenhofer Acoustics: we are deeply working together :)
For now, a big thank You to the whole team!

Norddeutsche HiFi Tage 2015 in Hamburg
%07-%02-%2015, %RGermany, HiFi Show, InternationalLike last year at the Norddeutsche HiFi Tage we have been playing in room 1615 with Einstein and Blumenhofer.
Even more than in the last years, the fireworks really exploded!!!
But this time… it left me breathlessssssss.
Just some small hints of the setup:
- TechDAS Air Force Two worldclass turntable, developed by former Japanese Micro Seiki: his lifetime project
- Einstein Audio The Little Big Phono phonopreamp
- Einstein Audio The Pickup cartridge
- Einstein Audio The Tune integrated amplifier including phono MM and Dac
- Cammino Power Harmonizer H3.1 - passive state of the art power conditioner (Blue Moon Award)
- Einstein Audio cables and Cammino power cords
- Symposium Acoustics rack, and overall decoupler and isolation and support elements
- Blumenhofer Acoustics Tempesta 20
At the first moment the whole system blowed me out of my socks!
The first impression was of a great maturity and understandability of what was coming out of the speakers: it was simply real!
Then slowly the feeling came of how was set up the system. A relatively simple setup with a grown world-class turntable.
Needles to say that we just played analog and have not been shy with the volume.
Needles to say that we all enjoyed the whole happening.
Here You can read the blog post of Walter Kircher, who supported us excellently during the whole daysHere You can view our picture slideshow
And in this picture, left Mr. Borchert and right his daughter: the two people behind the whole organization of the show. A big thank You to the both of them for making this possible!!

Working with A Capella
%16-%09-%2014, %RGermany, International, Listening Session, Partner
We spent a whole day at A Capella, one of the world leading manufacturer for Horn Loudspeakers.
As development system we were using a one way Laudatio loudspeaker, a small bookshelf which is 'just' a development reference project of A Capella which will only see the light if there will be a minimum order.
The source was an Einstein CD Player, one of the best CD Player in the world.
The power amplifier was a simple MaiA of Pro-Ject box Design, but believe me, more than sufficient for the task.
We spent the whole day, as I mentioned, trying to understand each-other products and find a way to implement new ideas in our power harmonizer.
Alfred Rudolf has been keen on working with us, at least as much as we have been keen on working with him!
I think all of us profited of this cooperation development day.
Fact is that we were really astonished. Yes, really astonished about the big result that even small changes could bear. Astonished, by the quality of the products we were working with. Flabbergasted by the ideas we collected.
It was a start and a first rough idea. It is up to us to extend and implement it.
We have known some more CDs and authors, some of them will become reference for us to work with.
Thanks to Armin, Alfred and Hermann to have made it possible!
Here to the Gallery with some pictures of the day.

Music Days in Düren
%29-%03-%2014, %REvent, GermanyEven this year the Neueshören Record store in Düren had an event about Blumenhofer.
Well... they were that busy dealing with customers that they forgot about taking pictures.
It must have been amazing.

Norddeutsche HiFi Tage
%01-%02-%2014, %RGermany, HiFi ShowFor the 5th time in a row this is a permanent appointment in our show participation and we never regret being on that show. This year it was even better than last year. In my feeling the participation of the public was even more than last year.
What to tell that I haven't already told?
This time I did not have the chance to make even one step outside of our room and spent the whole day talking with people visiting the show and spending lot of time in our room.
...even if really tough it has been very good!!
This was the setup, simpler than last year, but for this not less performing:
- Einstein Power Amplifier - The Amp
- Einstein CD Player - The Source
- Cammino H 3.1 Power Harmonizer
- The Rack was our way... If You are curious, take a look at the gallery ;-)
- Blumenhofer Acoustics Lautsprecher - Genuin FS 2
Thank You and thank the whole Bramsfeld team for the wonderful organization. Here the link to the HiFi Tage pages.
Thanks to Clemens and Martin of Sound and Vision (our dealer in Hamburg) for the outstanding support.
Looking forward for 2015! It is going to be the 10th anniversary of the show and our 6th participation: the organization promised big things for next year!
Here some pictures of the show.

At the HiFi Schmiede in Ettlingen
%16-%11-%2013, %REvent, GermanyAt the HiFi Schmiede, in Ettlingen, Germany, we had a very nice surprise. We had more than twice as much participants as expected.
The HiFi Schmiede is situated in an idillic village not far from Karlsruhe, in the south west of Germany. In the ancient time there was a smith, an important one for the region. If You visit the store, other than real good music and ambient, You find remaining of this older use of the area.
The focus was music, and lots has been played. The original idea was to have 20 minutes music and then 40 minutes discussions. In the end there was music from the beginning to the end and always again one question in between.
The whole system was composed by:
- Lindemann 825 CD Player
- Rega RP8 Turntable with Quezo cartridge
- Octave Phonomodule
- Octave V110 Power amplifier
- Genuin FS 2
- Cammino cabling and power supply
With these components and with the fantastic LP collection of Mr. Baumer, it is useless to say how good it has been. If You are even just a little bit curious, You can check the pictures on our gallery here
