Sound of Heaven - Spinelli HiFi - Milano
%12-%12-%2014, %R Event, ItalySpinelli in Milano is very convinced about the quality of our products and for his top event The Sound of Heaven, he asked us to deliver him the best cabling and support we could give. And that we did.
This was the setup:
Preamplifier: Pass XP 20
Power Amplifier: Pass X 250.8
Loudspeakers: Rockport Atria
Source: Meitner CD player MA-2
DAC: Meitner MA-1
Our contribution? Well, essential. We supported the show with 2 Power Harmonizers, Reference Interconnect Cable and Reference Loudspeaker Cable. The Cables chosen for power supply were of course a mix of all our power cables.
Our contribution? Enea said:
Well, it was most clear, when we had to detach all Cammino components from the setup and we had to send them back. The magic was lost! Here You can browse some pictures
Short report on the event in Calco from Angelo Jasparro - Audio Activity
%03-%07-%2014, %R Event, Italy, PressAngelo Jasparro (here in English), a well known and famous italian HiFi Journalist, leads Audio Activity, an Italian online magazine, since several years.
He paid us a visit during the Event in Lecco last week and wrote a short report. Here You can read it in Italian... on a dedicated page ;-)
"Real High Efficiency" event in Calco near Lecco, Italy
%28-%06-%2014, %R Event, ItalyOn the 28th of June Alta Fedeltà in Calco, near Lecco hosted a very nice event with Blumenhofer and Octave. We had the chance to present our products as well and hold a short seminar on the importance of how to treat current as one of the 2 important signals that generate music.
Here You can read something more about the event. It is written on Italian.
The Sala Grande room had:
- Blumenhofer Genuin FS 2
- Octave HP 300 Mk2 and RE 290
- whole cabling from Cammino-HP
- Power harmonization from Cammino as well
The Sala Nuova room presented:
- Blumenhofer Tempesta 20
- amplificatore Octave V 40 SE
- lettore Cd Gold Note Koala Tube Anniversary
Needles to say that most people spent most of the time in the Sala Grande.
Well, we hat lots of questions and lot of information share, lot of talks and, in between, I had the chance to sit down and enjoy some music: my impression was that there was no system, that everything disappeared and the music came like a wall with a refinement and a description precise like a diamond cut. It had the presence and the richness of a complete symphonic orchestra. Wow a seldom experience!
Here some pictures of the event (thanks to Blumenhofer)
p.s.: during the event we agreed with Angelo Jasparro of Audio-activity to experiment the Power Harmonizer at his place very soon
We were officially not there: Bologna
%14-%04-%2014, %R Event, ItalyOn the 14th April, we participated to a private HiFi United dealer and distributor event in Bologna. The private event has been organized by Octave and Blumenhofer Acoustics and was aimed at showing off their products to the italian dealers. We were just a tool that has been used because Blumenhofer invited us to support his event. There we had the possibility to test our products in this challenging environment. As usual the look of the Genuin FS 2 polarized, but it was a great sound. As usual our products and most of all our Power Harmonizer contributed considerably to the overall result.
The chain playing was composed as follows:
- 40 years old Technics turntable in Blumenhofer Acoustics plint
- Octave Phonomodule
- Octave HP 500 SE preamplifier
- Octave MRE 220 mono amplifier
- Exposure CD Player
- and Blumenhofer's Genuin FS 2
Well... I know that it can play much better, but it was great!! Here the pictures about the event.

Home Cinema Event at Spinelli Milan
%08-%03-%2014, %R Event, ItalyAt Spinelli was the first time we made such an home video event and I must tell it: it was impressive! Really amazing what a good home cinema system can do.
During set-up we did have some really hard time: making it perfect to the spot has been more challenging than expected.
Anyway impressive:
- Tempesta 20 mains
- Center 20
- Surround 17
- Sub 15
Electronics:
- Galaktron Power amplifier
- Cambridge Audio receiver
- Cambridge Audio Blue Ray player
- Epson 4k projector
Cabling and power treatment:
- Cammino

With Yamaha and Blumenhofer at Spinelli in Milano
%13-%12-%2013, %R Event, ItalyThis was the second part of a twin weekend event.
On the first weekend there was EAR and Blumenhofer and this weekend we played at Spinelli with a source and power amplification of Yamaha. They were the top stereo products the A-S3000 and the CD-S3000. The products were top and the sound matched the quality of the products used.
The whole cabling and power treatment, as usual in our events was completely Cammino.
Some of the people present the week before have come again to enjoy the difference and better understand the quality of the material involved in the presentation. They were not disappointed. The character of the 2 kind of amplification was clearly recognizable.
For me it has been a really successful weekend!! Here the Gallery of some dirty pictures

With EAR Yoshino and Blumenhofer at Spinelli in Milano
%06-%12-%2013, %R Event, ItalyAt Spinelli we made a presentation with Blumenhofer's Genuin FS 2 and EAR Yoshino source and power amplification. Of course cabling and power treatment by from us.
Lot of people coming appreciated the quality of the reproduction and some of them spent there several hours to enjoy music in a way they only could appreciated in concerts.
Here to watch some pictures.

Inauguration of the Organ in the Church of Bibione
%23-%02-%2013, %R ItalyThis is not a really Cammino Event, is something that we and Blumenhofer Supported.
The Church Santa Maria Assunta in Bibione received a new organ from one beloved member of his community, Rino Benedet.
Then we discovered that Fritz de With from STS-Digital has a spleen for organ music and loves to record organs.
Agreements were made and quite fast the decision was taken.
With the support of the community in Bibione the Church has been able to finance the production of the CD of the inaugural concert of the organ.
The CD is only for internal use of the Church and for the local community. You can contact Don Andrea Vena here if You wish to have more information about it.
Under magistral conduction of Maestro Daniel Roth from Saint Sulpice in Paris, the result and the sound were really moving.
These and these were the music played and the program of the concert
This concert was the opening concert for the Summer organ concert season in Bibione. Here You can download the whole program of the season.
The Organ comes from the Francesco Zanin company of Codroipo, Udine, Italy. Their site is still in construction but You can reach them here.
Some data of the organ can be read in this document
To perform the recording Fritz de With used a 4 microphone setup, placing 2 microphones in front of the altar directed to the two wings of the organ plus 2 more microphones about 10 meters behind to be able to generate the ambience of the church and eliminate some of the unavoidable disturbs arising during a live concert.
The microphones from Shoeps were connected to a Nagra VI pro 8-channel recorder. The power supply chain of the electronic involved was from us, whom else?
After enjoying the concert in the church, we spent the whole sunday playing the tracks again and again to understand the quality and start a first remixing process to decide the relative levels of the tracks. We were astonished, I've never had the experience of listening for a concert a second time in that quality. It beamed me away into a meditative status: fantastic! I'm looking forward for hearing the CD at my place.
